Glacier National Park
Glacier is transversed by the remarkably scenic
Going to the Sun Rd . The road begins at
Lake McDonald goes over Logan Pass and then ends at the
other side of the park at St Mary Lake. The
gigantic mountain scenery cant be missed and, during
your drive, you can view more wildlife than most other
parks in the USA.
Waterton Lakes shares
the border with Glacier. A tour boat takes
passengers from Waterton across the border to
Glacier. Canada manages its parks differently than
the USA with more extensive highways and even cities
being part of these parks.
Our staff prefers to use US 89 to travel to the
rocky mountain parks. The road's beauty enhances
the trip.
