If you have seen a platypus, you know that
nature has some changes in directions. Such is the case
at Goosenecks Utah State Park. Just east of Glen Canyon
National Recreation Area, the San Jaun River makes a set
of abrupt changes in directions; forming a double S set
of curves that are 1000 feet deep. The Park is north of
Mexican Hat Utah on Utah Route 316 which is an offshoot
of Utah 261.
