 Kartchner Caverns
The Kartchner Caverns are located in an Arizona
State Park. The parks protects the cave
environment better than any other that we have
come across while making the cave very accessible to the
public. Kartchner Caverns lie south of
Tucson. The climate is now dry but in millennium
past the erosive effects of water have left a cave in a
very unlikely place. The cave has all the
stalagmites and other structures that the slow
dripping of water can develop. Reservations
for guided tours are recommended. (520)
