Rocky Mountain National Park is the most southern of the great parks along this mountain chain.  The park contains one of the most outstanding roads in America.  The road rises to over 12000 ft. where you are higher than many of the peaks in the park.  If you adore vistas that are dotted with lakes, with many waterfalls and appreciate walking with wild animals, this is the place for you.
