Lake Tahoe

Tahoe is a retreat that has something for everyone.   For those who prefer outdoor activities there are many trails into wild areas.  The boating enthusiast can enjoy the immense lake where you rent or dock your own boat.  On the Nevada side of the lake, there are casinos to enjoy.    Of course in the winter, skiing is a featured activity.   In summer, many take in the scenic beauty by driving the roads that circle the lake as well as swim at one of the many beaches.  To get to Lake Tahoe from US 395 take US 50 west out of Carson City.  US 50 goes through the city of South Lake Tahoe and there are other roads that will take you to the many towns along the lake.
