Tour
of Grand Canyon, Colorado River &
Northern Arizona
|
The Grand Canyon
is the biggest hole that you will ever see.
The Colorado River and its tributaries have
cut their way through eons of rock to reveal
landscapes like no other in Northern
Arizona. This trip can be as short as five
days. The route follows the
Colorado from the Grand Canyon area to Lake
Mead. East of Grand Canyon is the
Petrified Forest National Park that
straddles I40 and Sedona which is just south
of Grand Canyon . Along the journey, we
suggest great side trips for more views of
the river, an old gold mining town where
donkeys romp with tourists, and the Laughlin
area where you can visit the pictographs
left by the Anasazi.
